Sosa Cigars
the Sosa family has been in the cigar-making business for more than 70 years.
Exiled from Cuba in 1962, the family opened its first U.S. store in 1964 in
Miami. Today the fifth generation of Sosas operate four stores in South Florida,
and now have a location Orlando -- the first store to carry the Sosa name.
Sosa Family Cigar Co. is located at Downtown Disney West Side, between the
Magic
Masters and Hoypoloi. Inside this small shop, you'll find more than 80 brands of
cigars, including Auturo Fuente, Padron, Diamond Crown, Imperio Cubano and the
much sought-after Fuente Fuente Opus XE.
Sosa also sells smoking accessories, such as handsome humidors ($100-$4,000),
lighters, ashtrays and cutters, as well as shirts and hats bearing the family
name.
Over the years, the Sosa company has earned a prestigious reputation among cigar
enthusiasts. In fact, the company's own Sosa Piramide No. 2 was rated as the top
cigar by Cigar Aficionado magazine in its March /April 1998 issue. All of Sosa's
cigars are manufactured in Dominican Republic.
